Benecos Natural Beauty Brand Review | Nail Polish, Eyeshadow & Mascara

Benecos Natural Beauty

Benecos Natural Beauty is a completely natural brand, BDIH certified, cruelty free, and they also offer a range of vegan products. The products are free from harmful ingredients such as paraffin, parabens, silicones, PEG, and synthetic colours, fragrance and preservatives. Check out the Benecos website at www.benecos.co.uk! Today I am going to be reviewing a few items, all of which are 100% vegan.

Quattro Eyeshadow in Coffee and Cream

This is an eyeshadow quad in lovely smokey browns. There are two shimmer shades and two matte shades, and they run from a creamy ivory to a dark chocolate brown. They are all really wearable shades and can be blended together to create a really contoured eye look. You can also wear the colours alone for a sweep of colour over the eyelid.

I always enjoy when companies name their shades (rather than numbering them) and I think coffee and cream is really cute. It also completely sums up the colour palette. The quad is a good size, you get a decent amount of product for the price (£6.95/4.8g).

Application wise, there was a fair bit of fall out. I think this can be avoided if you do your eye makeup first and sweep away the dust afterwards. The colours are quite pigmented but to get a more intense colour you have to pack a fair bit onto the eyelid. I just cleaned it up with some concealer and loose powder.

I really like the packaging on this quad, it’s acrylic and not unlike the really popular acrylic makeup holders so I think it will fit in with a lot of collections. It feels sturdy too which is good.

Natural Mascara Glamour Look

Next I tried the Natural Mascara Glamour Look in Ultimate Black. I curled my eyelashes prior to application and it gave me a very intense, lashy look. It makes your lashes look a lot more voluminous and bold.

It claims to be a clump free mascara, I had a little bit of clumping but that might be because I did quite a few sweeps across my lashes. I think this mascara is definitely too intense for bottom lashes, I put it on mine and I felt it was just too much. One thing about this mascara is that it stays on all day but when it comes to cleaning it off, a bit of micellar water on a cotton pad just sweeps it away.

This is the look I created with the Natural Mascara Glamour Look and Quattro Eyeshadow palette. I think it made a nice, warm smokey eye that is a little bit easier to wear than a black/grey smokey eye. The shades all blended nicely (I used the Eco Tools Enhancing Duo brushes).

Benecos also do the Quattro in the shades ‘Beautiful Eyes’ which is a collection of soft purples, and ‘Smokey Eyes’ which contains classic silvery greys and a black. I found the texture of the shadows soft and blendable.

New Happy Nails You-nique Nail Polish

The last thing I tried from Benecos Natural Beauty was the Happy Nails nail polish in the shade You-nique.

You-nique is one of three new shades, and it is a really pretty nude. It pretty much goes with any look or outfit. It’s very subtle, but looks very tidy and polished. It’s easy to apply, two coats does fine. I applied it two days ago and it has not chipped yet which is super impressive!

Summary

I think Benecos Natural Beauty is a fantastic brand. It is cruelty free, natural and offers lots of vegan items. The makeup is also really affordable. The mascara is £7.95, the eye shadow quad is £6.95, and the nail polish is also £6.95. Delivery is free on orders over £10! Benecos offers really great quality for the price, and the fact that they are cruelty free is fantastic.
