Fudge Urban Hair Care Review | Sea Salt, Feel The Heat & Miracle Ends

About the brand

Fudge Urban is a fairly new, innovative brand from Australia, with a whole range of bright and eye catching hair care products. They are against animal testing which is great and certified cruelty free on Peta’s companies list.

Iced Tropical Cocktail Miracle Ends

Miracle Ends is a kind of leave-in conditioner lotion. You can work it through damp or dry hair at the mid-ends and tips if they are feeling a bit dry and dull to lock in hydration and seal in shine. I have not tried this product on dry hair yet as I feel it may weigh my hair down, but I was pleased when I applied it to the ends of my damp hair and I feel it definitely made them look a bit smoother. Although, on second day hair my hair reverted back to the way it normally looks which is quite dry and the very tips.

The lotion smells very nice and is formulated with Argan oil which is praised for it’s renewing properties. This product also defrizzes and could be used to tame curly hair which is prone to frizz. There is 75 ml of product for £5.99.

Feel The Heat

Feel The Heat is a heat protection spray that protects your hair against up to 235°C which is quite a bit higher than many other heat defence sprays. It is easy to use, you just spray it into damp hair before blow drying and if you are heat styling your hair further such as straightening or curling, just spritz it and comb through beforehand. I think it did make my hair a little bit shinier and it also has a very slight hold in it which helps your hair stay in style.

The product smells very nice, and it is in a bright orange bottle with a purple and pink design. There is 150 ml of product for £5.99.

Sea Salt Texturising Spray

The Fudge Urban Sea Salt Texturising Spray can be spritzed into damp hair and scrunched with your hands to create a messy, beachy waves style. You can also spray this into your hair before blow drying to create lots of volume and waves, although my hair is very straight so it didn’t provide many waves for me. It has a 3.0/10 hold so it really just gives the hair a bit of body rather than fixing it into place.

Sea Salt Texturising Spray

The Sea Salt spray does smell very nice, it smells quite tropical and a tiny bit of coconuts. I am usually not a fan of the coconut smell but this is quite nice. There is 150 ml for £6.99.

Fudge Urban
Nozzle

I thought it was also worth mentioning the spray nozzle on the Take The Heat and Sea Salt products. They come with a little clip lid which I think is a really good idea because it stops any leaking and wasted product. The nozzles are also quite thin which provides you with a good amount of product rather than using too much.

Overall

Fudge Urban is a good, cruelty free company that provides quality hair care products. They are middle of the range in price, as some of their items can be quite expensive for a small amount. There products always look attractive and smell nice, and the packaging is of good quality. They use nice ingredients and will make your hair look shiny, healthy and stylin’.

Fudge Urban is available across the UK from Superdrug and Boots. You can also find out more on their website: fudgeurban.com.
