Bliss Rose Tinted Lip Hydrator

The Bliss Tinted Lip Hydrator is certified natural and made in New Zealand. It is a lipstick shaped lip conditioning stick that has a more rounded tip than a traditional lipstick. This is okay because the colour is very sheer and precise application is not really important.

The colour is a very sheer rosy tint which makes it extremely wearable for everyday, natural makeup looks or just on its own with a fresh face. The shimmer in the lip conditioner is absolutely beautiful, it looks quite glossy as well in the tube.

“The rich, hydrating formulation restores suppleness with the nourishment of rich plant butters and infuses lips with protective antioxidants. 100% natural and certified by BDIH it also includes Active Manuka Honey to give added protection and moisture benefits.”

The hydrator is very moisturising, I have extremely dried lips and go through lip balms so fast. I’m reapplying lip balm all day to keep my lips from cracking up and I find a lot of lip moisturising products make my lips feel smooth for an hour or so but they soon feel dry and chapped again. This product, however, kept my lips conditioned for a long while, and you really only need to reapply a couple times throughout the day for a little more colour.

Product ingredients

Ricinus communis (castor) oil, Jojoba esters, Cera alba (beeswax), Euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, Copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, Theobroma grandiflorum (cupuacu) seed butter**, Limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, Calendula officinalis (calendula) oil**, Mica CI77019, Titanium dioxide CI77891, Iron oxide, CI 75470, Daucus carota (carrot) extract, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Mel (manuka honey) (** certified organic).

This product contains Cera alba (beeswax) so it is not vegan safe!

The packaging

The Tinted Lip Hydrator came in small pouch which feels like canvas, and the inside has four mesh compartments which you can keep your lipsticks or other products in as long as they are not too big. It also has a Velcro pouch for storage. It does not say what the materials are exactly, but it is definitely useful and reusable so that is a plus!

Cute reusable pouch!
Lip Hydrator packaging

The Lip Hydrator itself comes in a standard lipstick tube. It is matte black with the Living Nature logo on the top and the shade and product on the bottom. The tube is very nice looking, it looks high end and sophisticated, the twist part is glossy black and it wouldn’t look out of place in anybody’s kit.

Review summary

The Living Nature Bliss Rose Tinted Lip Hydrator is a really nice product. It is ultra conditioning and leaves your lips smooth for hours. The shade is an adorable pink which works well natural looks, and is very wearable. It offers a light splash of colour and a lot of moisture boosting ingredients in one product. The packaging is simple but pretty, and the pouch is super handy! There are different ideas on whether bee products are suitable or not, but this product does contain beeswax which is something to be mindful of. The brand is really nice – it’s against animal testing and the ethos on the environment and nature are really inspiring.

Living Nature’s range of beauty and skincare products are fairly expensive, this lip hydrator retails at £15 which is quite an expense for what is essentially a tinted lip balm. However, this being said, the products are very high quality. It is certified natural by BDIH Certified Natural Cosmetics and certified cruelty free by CCF.
